Route ControlTM is the easy to use, space saving, problem solving software created exclusively for Microsoft Train SimulatorTM users.

Special features of Route ControlTM include:

  • Drag and Drop "auto-install" for many routes
Drop the route's zip file into a special folder, click "Add Routes" and in no time at all it's ready to drive. Routes using a spanned zip format can be easily added with our "Pack Route" function. *

  • Save GIGABYTES of hard drive space
Normally, each route you install can take up to 650MB of hard drive space. Using Route Control, each route you add takes an average of 10MB of space. The more routes you install, the more space you save!

  • Stop Crashes with the incredible "Checkup" mode
Automatically seeks out problem spots with activities and consists, and generates a report based on its findings. Quickly discover hidden problems before they ruin your day and crash the sim.

  • Informative, user-friendly interface
Route Control's design gets the job done quickly. Each function is clearly labeled and described fully on the Route Manager screen. First time users are walked through the program with flashing buttons to show each step.

  • Fully documented help system
Get the information you need with the click of a button. Includes a very simple to follow "Quick Start Guide".

* Please note that although Route Control is designed to be as flexible as possible, due to the nature of how routes are created not all routes will work with the program. Routes that have hundreds of custom made models or features may not gain any speed increase over using them the standard way. Route Control is also not recommended for use with commercially purchased custom routes.
